When the Bell Rings - Hardcover
Description
by Thomas Lawler (Author)
Chapter 1, "Hook 'Em Early", introduces the reader to how science works and how my classroom sets the stage for future learning. The next twenty-five chapters explore how schools work and the events that transpire in the classroom. My initial thoughts of writing a book began in the spring of 2008, and the first paragraph was written in July 2021. I was always somewhat amused when students would ask me if I was once an art teacher. My reply to my students was I once taught physical education. I'm a visual learner who wanted to use my entire educational background to connect with students. I'm most proud of the fact that I have taught a wide diversity of students. When the Bell Rings is a book that is educational, entertaining, enlightening, explosive, and embarrassing.
