Description
by Gary Floyd (Author)
While plotting his strategic escape from Brooklyn, a New York Jew considers his highly comical upbringing.
Armed only with a beguiling sense of humor, a love for music, and a steadfast dedication to self-metamorphosis, how does a lower middle-class New York Jew rise above his humble and often turbulent urban beginnings?
I found your story a pleasurable and interesting read. It brought to mind the narrative in "A Christmas Story," introspective in an innocent and honest way, yet humorous and relatable.
-Jennifer Ricci, fellow book club member
