Description
by Ronald L. Ellis (Author), Mark A. Wyatt (Author)
What does it take to turn a struggling Christian college into one of the fastest-growing faith-based universities in the nation?
In We Are Ready: A President's Preparation and Purpose, Dr. Ronald L. Ellis reveals the behind-the-scenes journey of transforming California Baptist University from a small institution with just 808 students and a projected $834,000 deficit into a thriving Christian university with nearly 12,000 students, a $397 million budget, and a global impact. Through visionary Christian university leadership and a strategic focus on the Great Commission, Dr. Ellis shares how a childhood Vacation Bible School project based on Matthew 28:19-20 shaped his life's calling and fueled his mission.
Part Christian memoir, part roadmap for higher education transformation, this book offers practical wisdom for faith-based education leaders, strategic planners, and believers pursuing personal growth and institutional change. With compelling stories of failure, breakthrough, spiritual clarity, and executive insight, Dr. Ellis delivers a deeply personal narrative rooted in faith and purpose.
Whether you're a leader in Christian education, a ministry professional, or a reader inspired by stories of vision and resilience, We Are Ready is your invitation to reflect, lead boldly, and live out your calling with purpose.
