The Voices of Saint Bede's - Paperback

by Kimberly Labor (Author)

THE VOICES OF SAINT BEDE'S: One singer is found unconscious-and another dead! Nothing so devastating has ever transpired before on the beautiful grounds of old Saint Bede's Episcopal Church, New York. Phoebe Overbridge, sister of one of the victims, arrives on the scene from California to begin unraveling not only the origins of these tragic misdeeds but also the deceptively staid fabric of the Saint Bede's community. Peppered with acute observations on a range of social and psychological issues, and delivering a distinct poke in the ribs to the established church, this mystery novel is clearly the author's most scintillating creation to date. KIMBERLY LABOR holds a bachelor's degree in history from the University of California at Los Angeles, a master's degree in English from Teachers College, Columbia University in the City of New York, and has over the years completed various additional terms of study in France and England. She is the author of two memoirs, I DREAM OF YOU STILL: EARLY YEARS IN BATH and PARIS BROKE ME (IN), and two previous novels, BEATRICE AFLAME and PHILIPPA FEAST. She lives in New York City.
