Author Biography

Steve Albrecht is a library consultant and coach, offering training on service, safety, and security. He is board-certified in human resources, security management, employee coaching, and threat assessment. He is the author of several books including The Library Leader's Guide to Employee Coaching: Building a Performance Culture One Meeting at a Time (Rowman & Littlefield, 2025) and The Safe Library: Keeping Users, Staff, and Collections Secure (Rowman & Littlefield, 2023).
