On the night of July 17, 1971, the Town Marshal of nearby Nederland, Colorado, arrested him and drove him to a dark and desolate mountain road. There the Town Marshal shot him in the head and left his body hidden in roadside bushes. This is the true story of that murder and its long aftermath.
