The Confessions and Autobiography of Harry Orchard is a memoir written by Harry Orchard and published in 1907. Orchard was a notorious criminal and assassin who was involved in several high-profile murders in the Western United States during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In this book, Orchard provides a detailed account of his life and crimes, including his involvement in the assassination of Idaho Governor Frank Steunenberg in 1905. Orchard also discusses his experiences as a member of various labor organizations and his interactions with prominent figures such as William Randolph Hearst and Clarence Darrow. The book is considered a valuable historical document for its insights into the labor movement and political corruption of the time. However, it is also controversial due to Orchard's reputation as a manipulative and unreliable narrator. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
