Description
by Keren Wilson (Author)
Yet another English couple retire to Provence. But the divinely eccentric Keren Wilson, determined to assimilate into French life has a few challenges ahead before she can live her dream life. Ponderous emails to friends and family following the closure of an illustrious career in teaching and acting highlight the mixed feelings that come with retirement. Will their French 'poufing' be able to negotiate them through the experiences of lacklustre builders, befriending their young and perfect neighbours, and hosting wild enough parties for the local bohemian natives? For anyone heading into retirement this is a must read!
