Swords of Fate - Paperback

by Nicole Sebastian (Author)

Order.

Mati Mason is set to enter young-adulthood in a world that never felt like her own. Her adoptive parents had loved her, but their two sons and the town they lived in showed nothing but disdain for her. On the eve of her big move, she is met by a strange visitor who whisks her off to a world she could only have imagined. There, she meets Fen who is everything she's not - unbridled and thoughtless.

Chaos.

Fen never thought his life would amount to much. After all, he was practically a slave for a family that never cared for him. He had no second thoughts about the journey that was thrust upon him, but he had doubts that he would ever get Mati to do more than tolerate him. He had never met anyone so controlled and rational.

Balance.

Mati and Fen are thrust into a world filled with adventures and terrors beyond their wildest imaginations. Their struggles in finding friendship with each other could jeopardize their mission, leaving Vertrose in ruin. They must find a way to work together - despite their differences - to break the curse placed on the gods and lead a rebellion to save the peoples of Vertrose - and themselves.
