Description

by George Adamski (Author), Gerard Aartsen (Editor)

Some thirty years before he achieved worldwide fame for his accounts of contact with visitors from space in Flying Saucers Have Landed and Inside the Space Ships, George Adamski worked as a metaphysics teacher at the Temple of Scientific Philosophy in Laguna Beach, California.

Here he already taught a philosophy of life that his contacts from space asked him to share with the world so that humanity might learn to live in peace and avert the threat of nuclear annihilation during the Cold War.

Many of his philosophical texts and teachings that were published in 1961 in Cosmic Philosophy showed the continuity of his teaching. Yet many remained scattered across bulletins, newsletters, UFO magazines and other journals. Several of these articles reveal that he was also, in fact, an activist, calling on his followers to campaign against nuclear testing, as well as for UFO disclosure.

These remaining articles are compiled here for the first time and demonstrate that Adamski's views have lost nothing of their urgent relevance for the perilous times in which we live.
