Description
by Charles Turner (Author)
When George McKenna preaches a sermon on the good Samaritan, little does he imagine Rose Templeton, a widow in his congregation, will take it quite so seriously. The next thing he knows, Rose has taken in a homeless man, and not long thereafter something happens that turns George's world upside down. Anyone who thinks a modern pastor's life is dull and mundane will think again as they meet such colorful characters as Sweet Martha Lester, Joel Scotney, and Dusty Case. And anyone who wonders if Christianity really works ""where the rubber meets the road"" will be amazed by the earthshaking reply this novel supplies.
