A year passed, and I could count on one hand the number of days I didn't consume some form of alcohol. I regularly showed up to work hungover as I isolated from the world and spent all of my free time with my drink of choice. I was dying inside.

You will see how my relationship with God grew as I learned to cling to Him, acknowledging that He is the only power greater than my disease of alcoholism. God helped loosen the grip alcohol had on me so that I could find Him. God led me to freedom.
