Author Biography

Harmit Singh Bedi is a professional urban planner and designer. He is building harmonious communities with many years of experience working as director of planning and development department. He holds master degrees from University of Pittsburgh, USA, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He has been associated with Georgia Southern University, Kennesaw State University, and Georgia Gwinnett College, Georgia, USA as Affiliate Assistant Professor. He has authored and published articles in the Planning magazine, published by the American Planning Association. He managed the preparation of Master Plan and Design of Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar (Punjab). He is a Member of American Institute of Certified Planners. He resides in the USA.
