Description
by Richard S. Shaver (Author)
Armchair fiction presents extra large paperback editions of the best in classic science fiction novels. "The Shaver Mystery, Book Four" by Richard S. Shaver. Welcome back to the world of Richard Sharpe Shaver. In this volume you'll get to meet an ancient race of god-like Norwegian folks, frozen while eating dinner thousands of years ago, who are unthawed just in time to finish their dinner and unintentionally help the Nazi's conquer Norway-sort of. There's also Butch, a disillusioned lifer, stuck in prison, who along with some of his prison buddies figure out a way to escape from prison by dreaming. Yes...dreaming. Shaver will explain. Then there's Ru-Non, a really beautiful but cruel female alien, whose race has been looting planets for slaves for centuries. She finds a nice pocket of potential slaves to pick from in a monstrously big cavern found more or less underneath Yankee Stadium. Sounds pretty cool, huh? And if all this isn't enough to sell you on Richard S. Shaver we just don't know what will... These Shaver Mystery tales are presented in paperback for the first time.
