First in the series!
Cats, friendship, romance, and murder-served with small-town charm.

Welcome to Madrona Island, a picturesque (and occasionally perilous) gem in Washington's San Juan Islands.

Fourth-generation islander Caitlin Hart is doing her best to hold on to the life she loves as Madrona Island shifts from a working waterfront to a tourist hotspot. She lives in a cozy cabin on her aunt's oceanfront estate, where she helps run Harthaven Cat Sanctuary, and spends her free time at Coffee Cat Books, the coffee bar/bookstore/cat lounge she co-owns with her best friend, Tara.

But island life takes a dark turn when Cait-and her loyal dog, Max-discover the body of a prominent island council member in the back room of the long-abandoned fish cannery.

With everyone on the island harboring secrets, Cait is drawn into a murder investigation alongside an unexpected-and intriguing-sleuthing partner who just might be more than a friend. Meanwhile, a stray cat named Romeo, who has followed Cait home, seems determined to cause trouble-especially when it comes to the neighbor's prized show cat, Juliet. Despite warnings to stay away, Romeo refuses...as if he's trying to tell Cait something she's not ready to see.

Can Cait uncover the truth behind the murder before the killer strikes again? And will she learn to trust her instincts-human and feline alike?

Romeow and Juliet is a charming, cat-filled cozy mystery perfect for fans of small-town sleuths, gentle romance, and whiskered companions with a knack for getting into-and out of-trouble.
