Rise of the Sirin
A blissful death awaits those who follow the Sirins' Song. It's 1993 and Myka loves managing the rock band Burning Brenda. Too bad she broke the oldest rule in the book and fell in love with the lead singer, Andrew Arie.
When he goes missing while on vacation, Myka is determined to save him, even if that means this city girl must brave the deadly Alaskan wilderness. She expects predators and cold weather, but instead, she finds him imprisoned on an island of Sirins-an army of half-women, half-birds able to enthrall men with their magical voices.
And in a place inhabited by women, men are only good for one thing...
When an unlikely ally, who may be hiding an ulterior motive, offers to help them escape, they have no choice but to trust her. Because if they don't, the Sirins will kill Myka, and Andrew will suffer a fate worse than death.
Fans of second-chance romance and rock star romance with a twist, will love this dark fantasy inspired by Slavic folklore.
