This book is written by a husband-and-wife team. Fifty years ago, during the charismatic renewal, they were each introduced to the ministry of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Karen's journey with the Holy Spirit began at the University of North Dakota, while Ken's journey had its beginnings at a state university in Kentucky. At the time, our Lutheran and Catholic backgrounds left us with innumerable questions concerning the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Fifty years have passed since we asked for and received the Holy Spirit into our lives. During these years, we have each raised our families and buried a spouse. The Holy Spirit has also empowered us through our busy careers. During that time, we have learned to trust the leadings of the Holy Spirit.
