Myths and Urban Legends Mexico - Paperback
Description
by Joanna Larraga (Illustrator), Carlos Alberto González (Illustrator), Raúl Jiménez (Author)
Breathtaking short stories told and retold through the generations.
Have you ever heard about the tragedy of Culiacan's pirate?
Like many of the tales in this book, it is not a story usually told outside of Mexico. My name is Raúl Jiménez, and I am a Mexican author who has always been fascinated by my country's legends and folklore, as it is a rich part of our heritage that most mainstream audiences haven't experienced. From prehispanic stories like the Mexican version of the Prometheus myth to more modern legends and fables, you will find something for you in the many stories of this book, and I hope you have as much fun reading them as I had when I put them together. You'll enjoy this book if you like:- Horror stories
- Gangster and narco stories
- Aztec, Mayan and other prehispanic myths.
- Romance stories.
- Paranormal stories.
- Alien stories.
- Religious stories.
- Beautiful illustrations.
- Creepypastas.
