Description
by Crystal Tamboline (Author)
Some secrets don't stay buried-especially in Fort Richfield.
Kacey Lundgren never thought her sophomore Spring Fling would end in disaster. She and her best friend, Jenny Forester, were supposed to dance, laugh, and maybe even make a few memories worth telling their future selves. But all it took was one spiteful confrontation with Ellie Mason-the queen bee of Fort Richfield High-for everything to spiral out of control.
By sunrise, Ellie is missing. The only thing left behind are whispers: bone-chilling screams in the woods, a glint of amber eyes in the dark, and two girls-Kacey and Jenny-at the center of it all.
Now, two years later in the spring of 2024, the town still remembers. And so does Kacey. As new clues emerge and old wounds reopen, Kacey must navigate the tangled web of memories, lies, and buried truths that stretch across both timelines. Because in a town like Fort Richfield, nothing ever stays quiet for long-and the eyes in the dark are still watching.
Told in dual timelines, Mystery in Fort Richfield is a gripping, twist-filled mystery about friendship, fear, and the haunting cost of secrets.
