My Trauma Is Not My Story - Paperback

by Angie Leslie (Author)

"My Trauma is Not My Story" is the deeply moving and inspirational journey of Adaeze, a woman in her late 60s who has endured a lifetime of emotional wounds and trauma but is now reclaiming her narrative. Born into a home filled with abuse, neglect, and fear, Adaeze grew up in an environment where love was absent, leaving her to navigate life feeling unwanted and unloved. The scars of her childhood led her to seek escape in early marriage and motherhood, but instead of finding the peace she longed for, she found herself trapped in new cycles of pain and emotional turmoil.

Adaeze's story is a testament to the human spirit's resilience. Even after years of carrying the weight of her past, she makes a courageous decision to confront the trauma that had defined her life for so long. Through faith, therapy, and sheer determination, she begins to untangle the complexities of her past, learning to give and receive love, and ultimately healing the deep emotional wounds that had kept her from living fully.

This book offers hope to anyone who has experienced trauma, whether in childhood or later in life. Adaeze's journey highlights the power of self-awareness, emotional healing, and spiritual growth. As she uncovers the root of her unhealthy patterns and emotional struggles, she finds peace in God's presence and learns that it's never too late to begin living your best life.

"My Trauma is Not My Story" will inspire readers to take control of their own healing process, confront their past, and step into a brighter future-one filled with purpose, love, and hope. Join Adaeze on this transformative ride as she moves from survival to thriving, proving that our past does not define us, but our resilience and faith can shape our future.
