Mama's Kitchen: 40 Desserts for the Table God Sets in Every Season - Paperback

by Amanda Leona (Author)

Mama's Kitchen: The Sweetness of God You know that feeling when you are carrying more than you let on? When you are trusting God but honestly some days trust feels more like a decision than a feeling? When you are grateful and exhausted and hopeful and uncertain all at the same time and you are not sure there is a word for what that season even is? That is exactly where this book finds you. Mama's Kitchen was born out of the truth that God never stopped meeting His people in the ordinary places. At the table. In the kitchen. In the quiet and the chaos and every hard and beautiful moment in between. Forty desserts paired with forty devotionals, honest prayers, and Scripture because sweetness and faith were never meant to be separate. He is present in the mixing and the waiting and the tasting just as much as He is present in the prayer. Sometimes more. These pages will not ask you to pretend you are further along than you are. They will simply remind you that God is faithful in the season you are actually in, not the one you thought you would be in by now. His sweetness is real. His presence is close. And the table He sets for you has never once run out of room. Come as you are. Bring whatever season you are carrying. There is a place at this table that was always meant for you.
