Description
by Maev Barba (Author), Ben Crowley (Author), Robert Eversmann (Author)
Stories told deep in the woods of Washington where the observatory lies. Join us for an experiment in architecture, a daughter, and an unflappable mother searching night after night in a structure larger than the Tacoma Dome. Boys who dream of being astronauts grow up to go missing for a long, long time.
See the whale that gave us everything when we had nothing, and then it died-the "exploding whale" of Florence, Oregon, 1970. A cowboy's worst dream is not the day he takes care of children, but the day children take care of him. A father who hates his hateful child. A father who loves his lovely child. Who should die?
Play a game for those of us with dead horses lying around. The love of our family was not adequate for our father. He would not be satisfied until he took the city by force. They took our birthdays. They took our clowns. They took our dolls. What else did we have?
Meet the author Bob Selcrosse who cannot escape Long Beach, Washington. His life, utterly directionless, Bob Selcrosse frequents a shady fish market and visits an unlicensed palmist.
