Live Fearlessly: Liberating your life after breast cancer - Paperback

by Emilia Dauway (Author)

Do you, or someone you care about who has experienced breast cancer, live with fear of the cancer returning?

Have you completed breast cancer treatment and feel as if life and everyone else has moved on, but you don't feel back to "normal" and feel stuck?

Are you currently experiencing breast cancer and have lost your joy for living?

Many women keep it together through surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, as well as the regular responsibilities of life, but after treatment are afraid. Behind the practised smile, they live in fear until the next mammogram or test.

As an experienced oncologic surgeon and yoga teacher, Dr Emilia Dauway introduces readers to the philosophy of yoga and mindfulness practices for those who desire to live without constant fear of recurrence or death. Live Fearlessly takes you on a life journey from the "mat".

What you will learn:

• The impact of fear on mental and physical wellbeing
• The scientific evidence and the effect of mindset on health
• Practical solutions through practices which are readily available and thousands of years old
• What yoga is and is not (no experience necessary)
• How to be less reactive and more responsive.

And so much more...

This book is an invitation to reframe the way you think about breast cancer (or any illness) from a different perspective and mindset. Live Fearlessly is a roadmap to a fulfilling life beyond recovery, one that every woman who has experienced breast cancer should read.
