Gordon Steel's first play Dead Fish won a Fringe First, and was nominated for The Independent Theatre Critics Award. Like a Virgin was a hit at the Edinburgh Festival, before going on to receive further critical acclaim on a nationwide tour with the Hull Truck Theatre Company.
