Author Biography

Manuel Jabois nació en Sanxenxo (Pontevedra) en 1978 y empezó su carrera como periodista en Diario de Pontevedra. Tras pasar por El Mundo, desde 2015 escribe en El País. También tiene un espacio diario en el programa Hora 25 de la Cadena SER. Como escritor, ha publicado la novela A estación violenta (2008), las recopilaciones de artículos Irse a Madrid (2011) y Hay más cuernos en un buenas noches (2022); Grupo Salvaje (2012) -unas breves memorias sentimentales sobre el Real Madrid-, Manu (2013) y un largo trabajo sobre el 11-M titulado Nos vemos en esta vida o en la otra (2016). En 2019 publicó con gran éxito de crítica su primera novela en Alfaguara, Malaherba. Le siguieron Miss Marte (2021) y Mirafiori (2024). La víspera es su última novela.
