Kiss of the Whale: A Transformative Journey of Self-Healing

What if your greatest loss became the portal to your awakening?

After the heartbreak of parental alienation, trauma-informed therapist and author Vesta Spivakovsky-Chandler left everything behind and embarked on a five-year odyssey across continents - from the jungles of Thailand and the sacred valleys of Peru to the deserts of Israel and the deep ocean, where whales became her unexpected teachers.

Blending memoir, psychology, and spiritual anthropology, Kiss of the Whale invites readers to explore how pain can become a path to consciousness. Through vivid adventures, sacred rituals, and encounters with healers, scientists, and the natural world, Vesta reveals a profound truth: healing is not about fixing yourself - it's about remembering your wholeness.

Written with lyrical honesty and grounded compassion, this book speaks to anyone navigating trauma, transition, or spiritual awakening. It is a deeply human narrative that bridges science and mysticism, personal healing and planetary connection.

Why now: In an age of emotional disconnection and global anxiety, Kiss of the Whale offers a rare synthesis of vulnerability, wisdom, and hope. It calls readers to reimagine healing as an act of reconnection - with self, with nature, and with the sacred intelligence of life itself.
