Kiss Me Goodnight - Paperback
Description
by Marcela Avelar (Author), Emily Hart Fiskio (Foreword by), Marcela Avelar (Artist)
What you are about to read is a journey
It started on a rainy day
The kind of rain that only pours from the inside
And flooded my living room
It could have been a few days
Or a few hours
Same position and blurry eyes
Even with no energy to move
Those words needed to be written
And that's that
Without expectations
The process of healing started
From Darkness to Light
But not as a destination
More like a constant battle to gravity.
About the AuthorMarcela Avelar is a multidisciplinary artist, Mexican-born based in New York City.
Review"Kiss Me Goodnight is an open window in her dark room. And we all must climb inside and stay for a while." - EMILY HART FISKIO
