Keepin' it Cryptid - Paperback

by Authortaku (Author)

A young boy seeks shelter after breaking a window. Some sort of sanctuary until his father has the opportunity to cool off. That's when he sees it...

An unassuming bookstore occupied by a hauntingly eerie old man...

The creepy store contains rows of books, all lined with stories of kids much like him. But the contents of the books are all abnormal, with each featuring tales of the kids' encounters with the unknown...

Stories of beasts only whispered about in hushed tones...

Of creatures found in myth and legend...

Of monsters that even make grown-ups turn pale.

These are tales of their encounters with cryptids!

What is a cryptid, you ask? You probably already know about them and just don't realize it! Things like Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, or Yeti are all examples of cryptids!

Is this store really the safe harbor he needs, or will his story be cut short?

Join our little trouble-maker as he learns about the unusual creatures known as cryptids and their interactions with other kids. Troublemakers, much like himself. Kids who don't follow the rules, kids who pick on others, and kids who don't practice good manners. What happened to those kids, and why did it happen? Is there some lesson to be learned from these tales? The young boy embarks on a journey of personal growth through the tales of cryptids, and hopefully he can make it out of this eerie bookstore encounter alive!
