I Remember You: The Making of an Activist - Paperback
Description
by Elaine Blanchard (Author)
My life has been a series of relationships, as all lives tend to be. I have changed the names of many characters to provide privacy for those who might not want to be included in my story. I have been damaged along the way and those who have damaged me are part of my story as well as those who have supported my healing. It is not my intent to disparage anyone but simply to share my own life experiences. I have come out strong in the broken places and that is the purpose of my sharing these life stories. Like the Japanese art called Kintsugi, the practice of repairing broken pottery by mending the cracks with lacquer mixed with powdered gold, silver or platinum. Instead of hiding the damage, Kintsugi embraces flaws as part of the object's history. I have accepted what life has given me.
