Description
by Abia Nazim (Author)
The present research aimed to assess the adaptive skills of children and to explore their relationship with various personal, social and familial variables. To achieve this purpose, two main phases were designed. Phase- I aimed to develop an indigenous scale of adaptive functioning and to establish its psychometric properties. The final scale comprised 206 items and four factors namely daily living skills, social skills, self care skills and home living skills, collectively accounted for 64.23 % variance in factor analysis.
