Hiller helped guide and insure the future of the College of Arts and Science of the Johns Hopkins University. He was deeply involved in aid and assistance to the people of Israel while he worked closely with the very top level of the government of Israel. Hiller was the professional leader of two major Jewish federations. He gave leadership in the revision of the national Jewish federation organization which he served as its executive vice-president for several years. After his first retirement he created a successful consulting business. He concluded his professional career of 50 years by leading the first "support foundation" in ground-breaking achievements.
