This book, a companion volume to a concert-lecture series celebrating Gaubert's memory, is his first published biography, drawn in large part from family memoirs and other unpublished sources.

Author Pat Marriott is Music Director of WHQR-fm, the NPR affiliate in Wilmington, North Carolina. He writes regularly on classical music and jazz. Pat collaborated with the artists in creation of the commemorative concert-lecture tour GAUBERT VIVANT!
