Author Biography
Mary Shelley was born Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin in 1797 to famed feminist Mary Wollstonecraft and political writer and philosopher William Godwin. In 1816, she married poet Percy Bysshe Shelley. She wrote several other books including Valperga (1823), The Last Man (1826), and Lodore (1835).
