Foxglove - Paperback
Description
by Robert E. L. Trowbridge (Author)
More than just a "farm," Foxglove, the property, is an elegant, turn-of-the-century equestrian estate on seventeen acres, a mere forty-_ ve minutes from the heart of Vancouver. With its chapel, ballroom, formal gardens and courtyard, Foxglove Farm is a swath of old Provence, a rare antiquity in a modern West Coast world. Foxglove's unique charm has been a magnet for Hollywood's best for more than a decade, providing a setting for the work of Brad Pitt, Donald Sutherland, Diane Lane and Nicolas Cage. More than just a true account of a Canadian boomer couple colliding headlong with their thirty year dream, Foxglove, the story, is a hardboiled observation of human nature; a humorous and soulful take on relationships in general and marriage in particular. Foxglove is about the joy of growth and the pain of loss and the give and take of a love that spans four decades.
