With a background that includes over 25 years in the business field, Trudi has worked in several entrepreneurial situations from owning a hair salon to an urban art company. In addition, she serves as an Administrator in ministry, working alongside clergy with the goal of expanding community outreach and prison ministry. Currently, she has turned her focus to serving others in the areas of advocacy, education and social justice programs. Her passion for the support of inmates and their families led her to form We ADAPT, (We Assist During & After Prison Transition) which provides counsel and resources to individuals before, during and after incarceration. Trudi Batiste is a sought-after speaker and the coordinator of "Girl Talk 2.0," a program designed to inspire and motivate underserved youth within her community.
