Author Biography

Retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent James Furry served from November 26, 1973, until April 1, 2005. His memoir tells the story of his diverse career from clerical employee to member of a surveillance special support group to special agent in the Springfield and Newark Division, culminating in his becoming a supervisory special agent in the Newark Division. He currently lives in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with Ann Furry, his wife of forty-four years. They have twin sons, Christopher (wife Victoria), and Derek (wife Kimberly), and seven grand-children.
