Author Biography
Roger Marshall is an accomplished yacht designer, competitive sailor, and author of 12 yachting books. After designing for the renowned firm of Sparkman & Stephens, he established his own design company, where he has designed sailboats and powerboats from 15 to 65 feet. Project manager in 1987 for the Courageous America's Cup team, he has written some 600 articles for boating magazines worldwide and is chair of the publications committee for the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers.
