Description
by Ph. D. Steven Ungerleider (Author)
While the German Democratic Republic's secret "State Plan" was in effect, more than ten thousand unsuspecting athletes were given massive doses of anabolic steroids. These athletes achieved massive success at the Olympics, but for many their physical and emotional health was permanently damaged. This new revised edition of Faust's Gold draws on the revelations of criminal trials of GDR coaches, doctors and officials who have now confessed to ruthless medical experiments.
