Description
by Zules (Author)
Silly and lighthearted, deep and dark-this full-color comic about teenagers dealing with a horrifying, magical curse explores what happens when you're forced to bring harm to the people you love.
The King of Pain...that's the title given to those unlucky enough to be cursed with Exvulnerum, an arcane affliction that torments its host every night with unrelenting, supernatural agony.
Evey Kendrickson, an only child living a simple life on his father's farm, doesn't even know magic exists until he is suddenly crushed by the horrific curse. His only hope of relief is to push aside his conscience and pursue a morally-questionable solution cities away. Halfway there, he is interrupted by Amberleigh Istobal, rich kid on the run. After Evey unwillingly reveals to Amber that he is carrying a fascinating, magical mystery, she volunteers to be his travel companion-whether he likes it or not!
In this full color fantasy romance comic, Amber's exuberant kindness will battle it out against Evey's cold grief, but no matter who wins... they still have an unthinkably twisted curse to contend with.
This thick "brick" of a publication contains the prologue and first 13 chapters of Exvulnerum, online webcomic created by indie author and illustrator, Zules.
(This comic includes content some people may find disturbing and is intended for teen readers and older.)
