Steven M. Cahn is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at the City University of New York Graduate Center. He is the author of Exploring Philosophy, Eighth Edition (OUP, 2023); Classic and Contemporary Readings in the Philosophy of Education (OUP, 2011); Ethics: History, Theory and Contemporary Issues, Seventh Edition (OUP, 2019); Political Philosophy, Fourth Edition (OUP, 2022); and The Meaning of Life, Fourth Edition (OUP, 2017), among others.
