Electroconduction in plants refers to the ability of plants to conduct electrical currents. Plants are naturally conductive to some degree due to the presence of ions in their tissues, such as potassium and sodium ions. These ions play essential roles in plant growth and cellular processes. In electroculture, the idea is to exploit this natural electroconductive property of plants to facilitate the movement of electrical energy within the plant. By applying a mild electrical current to the plant or its roots, it is believed that the electroconduction properties of the plant can be utilized to enhance nutrient transport, cellular activities, and overall growth.
