Easily Staged One-Act Plays - Paperback
Description
by T. A. Copeland (Author), O. Henry (Author)
This volume contains eleven very short plays based on short stories by O. Henry written in the first decade of the twentieth century. They are suitable for classroom use or theatrical performance and require little or no set and few props. Much miming is specified, and more can be employed. A small, intimate theater the size of an old church is assumed in the stage directions. Costumes, although desirable, are not essential for the classroom, for the special interest lies in the action and the dialogue. All of the plays are "family-friendly."
