Demonstrations of the Faith - Paperback
Description
by Theodore Abu Qurrah (Author), D. P. Curtin (Translator), Constantin Bacha (Author)
Theodore in this work appears to be addressing two issues. The first of which is the Christological question that was addressed by the Council of Chalcedon in prior centuries. His base of operation within the Arab world made this question complicated as there was limited ecclesiastical or political authority to be able for help him to maintain his base against anti-Chalcedonian bishops in the region. Secondly, Theodore appears to want to address the issue of Marcionism, and clarify the utility of both the Greek in Hebrew scriptures working in concert within the Christian Gospel.
