Demon Daddy Issues - Paperback

by Jeanette Clarke (Author)

He was expecting an evil sorcerer. He got a florist in bunny slippers who thinks "Anima mea tua est" means free coffee for a year.

Hazel Brooks has a leaky roof, a drama-queen fiddle-leaf fig, and absolutely zero experience summoning demons. So when she reads a dusty Latin scroll aloud while repotting a succulent, she's expecting a vintage love letter-not a binding soul contract with the Prince of the Seventh Circle.

Lucian is ancient, terrifying, and seriously annoyed. He was promised a robed cultist with a sacrificial dagger. Instead, he's stuck in a tiny flower shop wearing a "Kiss the Florist" apron, knocking over air plants with his ridiculously massive wings, and being force-fed snickerdoodles by a woman who hums while she works.

The contract can't be broken until he collects her soul or finds a loophole. But somewhere between the hellfire greenhouse sessions, the awkward dinner with her nosy neighbor, and the discovery that his wings are extremely sensitive, Hazel starts to wonder if maybe-just maybe-she doesn't want to be un-summoned.

And Lucian? The Prince of Darkness is catching feelings. And it's ruining his reputation.

Demon Daddy Issues is a laugh-out-loud, high-heat monster romcom where the cinnamon roll heroine teaches the grumpy demon that love is the most terrifying magic of all. Expect wing worship, praise kink, a demon who learns to use the coffee grinder, and a happily ever after that proves even Hell can bloom.
