Author Biography
Dr. Tammie Kaufman is an associate professor at the University of Central Florida in the Rosen College of Hospitality Management. Dr. Kaufman obtained her PhD in hospitality and tourism management from Virginia Tech in 1999 where her dissertation research focused on historic preservation and tourism planning and development. While at Virginia Tech she worked in Virginia Tech's Economic Development office focused on tourism development. Her research interests include cultural and heritage tourism management as well as small business research in the hospitality industry.
