Author Biography
AISHA HASSAN vive y trabaja en Londres. Obtuvo una maestría en Escritura Creativa por la Universidad de Oxford y es alumna de Curtis Brown Creative. La compañía Tamasha representó su obra Pickle Mangoes (Mangos en vinagre) en la Noche de Comedias Nuevas del Teatro Soho. Su poesía ha sido seleccionada para el concurso de la Poetry School/Nine Arches Press, preseleccionada para el premio Bridport y se ha publicado en las revistas Under the Radar y Campus. 'Donde bailan las luciérnagas' es su primera novela y ha sido nominada para los premios Bridport Novel (Peggy Chapman-Andrews), el premio Hachette's Mo Siewcharran, el proyecto Penguin Random House WriteNow y seleccionada para el premio London Writers. La autora vivió durante su infancia en Lahore.
