Author Biography
David M. Neuhaus, SJ, is former superior of the Jesuit community and the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Jerusalem. The son of German Jews, Neuhaus was born in South Africa and moved to Israel as a teenager. While living in Israel, he became Catholic and, eventually, a Jesuit priest. In addition to his biblical scholarship in the academy, he regularly writes on questions of Israel/Palestine and Catholic teaching and life in Civilta Cattolica, the official news organ of the Vatican.
