Coldwater Range: A Classic Western - Paperback

by John D. Nesbitt (Author)

They shot first. Now Del Rowland is done taking orders.

When a bullied homesteader is pushed into a fatal gunfight, Del starts to question everything about Bill Overlin and the Spoke Ranch. The cattlemen aren't just pressuring settlers-they're terrorizing them. And when Del hears whispers in the saloon and sees one of those men gunned down in the street, the truth becomes impossible to ignore.

He walks away from the Spoke and joins the homesteaders, learning more about Holt Warren's quiet devotion to Lawna's mother-and the suspicions surrounding the deaths of Lawna's father and Overlin's first wife. As the range war escalates, so does Del's connection with Tess, a determined nester girl just trying to survive the violence.

But when a barn goes up in flames and a worker is shot dead, Del has a choice to make. Stand aside... or stand and fight.

In a gripping Western mystery of betrayal and justice, Del must summon every ounce of courage and cunning to survive the war closing in.
