Of course we know it is God who has been leading us in this remarkable life, first as individuals and later as husband and wife, the preacher and the singer, the big picture man and the detailed woman brought together and useful to Him to not only grow a family, but also a church and ministry. Mark loved sports since childhood, so he thought coaching would be an ideal career. But the Lord had other plans. Mark left Southern California, traveled to Fort Worth, Texas and entered seminary to begin studies for full-time ministry. That's where he met Janet. She came to seminary from Blacksburg, Virginia to study discipleship and church planting, but deep in her heart she thought God was calling her to be the wife of a pastor. Mark arranged to sit next to Janet in class, and the rest is history. Mark and Janet love the Lord Jesus Christ and try to seize every opportunity He puts before them to share the greatest news in the world, His mercy and grace. Their suitcases are always half-packed so they can visit their three grown children plus the GRANDS, also friends in the U.S. and across the globe. To God be the glory!
