Blessings is an interactive book of blessings and art. Each blessing and child-like drawing invites you to find areas of connection with your own life. Each blessing names the both the good and human challenges of walking with God. Readers can use it to interact with God on what they see, what God is inviting them to and to ask for the grace that they need for their journey with God. It can also be used to bless others and remind them that God indeed sees, knows them, loves them and genuinely likes them.
Blessings was birthed from an opportunity Kym was given to create closing blessings for a monthly contemplative prayer group she was attending. As Kym spent time in silence with God pictures and images would come to mind of her own journey struggles and longings as a christian woman. The more she healed personally the more childlike and healing the blessings would come.
If you want to step out of the box and dip your tow into creativity this book is for you. May it call you into new places with God. And may you begin to create, play and write your own.
